The news, which was originally published in February 2018, was also reported by the Adventist portal AdventistToday, ^[3] Norwegian Union Asks General Conference Not to Spend Money on Weapons — Article, AdventistToday among other places, which—aside from the Google reference, leaves us evidence that this news is real, although the Adventist Church is trying to hide it. Shortly after this complaint by the DNU, the General Conference announced that it was going to review its investment practices, and they reference this news. However, they do it this way:

Although Victor Marley appears to have been moved by God to point out the sins of his church, the reality is that his message is more of the same: "No importa lo que pase ahí dentro, este sigue siendo el pueblo de Dios." However, the fact that the senior leadership of the Adventist Church has gone to such extremes, such as investing in the death industry, is a clear sign that God is not within that organization, because God is very clear, "No matarás" (EXD. 20:13).

¹⁵ But the dogs they will be out, and the sorcerers, the fornicators, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes lies.—REVELATION 22:15

It is very possible that Marley is only giving information that the church itself wants to publish—openly, therefore. the information is-forgive the redundancy, public. It's just that if they are the ones bringing the information to light, they can control it, and this is exactly what Victor Marley seems to be doing here:

At no point does Marley call on members to rebel against apostasy, to withhold funding (tithes and offerings) from these practices until they cease. Nor does he point out that this fact is a violation of God's law, but rather he tells you, "You and me, and those around us where we are, somos la iglesia." In other words, no matter what abomination moves in there, "este es el barco, la Iglesia de Dios, ahí debes quedarte", and above all, "no dejes de diezmar". However, the word of God says:

¹¹ Depart, depart, get out of there, do not touch unclean things; come out from the midst of it; purify yourselves you who carry the vessels of Jehovah. —ISAIAH 52:11

Can someone who openly violates God's law be purified... by worshiping other gods, for example? (EXOD. 20:1-3), or being responsible for the deaths of thousands—perhaps millions of people around the world? Can you purify yourself, who finances that same violation? (EXOD. 20:13).

And let's not forget where Victor Marley's salary comes from, and who gave him that job. Can an employee rebel against his boss without receiving reprimand? And we have not seen any rebuke, for there is no rebellion here. This is just one more case of controlled opposition, "pero la serpiente era astuta…" (GEN. 3:1).

Although above the Adventist Church denied its intervention in the tobacco industry, junk food, gambling, pornography, and others, according to Timonthy Aka, the General Conference Fund Manager, we have found contradictory evidence.

In an article titled "Profane tithe", published by the magazine Adventist Record On March 10, 2017, the Adventist Church recognizes its intervention in these industries, in a very subtle way. Adventist Record is the official magazine of The South Pacific Division, based in Australia. Kent Kingston, author of the article, first leaves us with the following rhetorical question, addressed to your conscience:

''THE PLEASURE INDUSTRY''

"No se harán Direct Investments en ciertas industrias que no estén de acuerdo con los valores de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día", dicen las actas del Concilio Anual de la Asociación General (CG) del 2004. Since we know that the typical Adventist does not have the capacity to discern what we have just read, we explain it here. First, we already covered the issue of weapons of war, so let's focus on the rest. And since all this rest is included in the same portfolio, let's just talk about pornography, and understand that the same principle applies to the others: junk food, tobacco, gambling, etc.

It has long been known that the Adventist Church had its hands in the pornography industry, which—like the gun issue, was an open secret, but difficult to verify. However, Adventist Record tells us that already for 2004 the Adventist Church "no haría inversiones directas" in companies that generate more than 5% of their profits as a product of the pornography Industry. That is, companies that produce and/or sell and buy material and/or services from the adult entertainment industry (pornography) that generate over 5 percent of their annual profits, Mmmm…

Yes, 5 percent or more, But what if they are just 4%, or maybe 2, or maybe just one, or who knows, a .5%? They are telling you to your face, but you continue in your foolishness saying "pero este es el pueblo de Dios". Oh yes, of course!
