Recently, on a Facebook page, someone shared a moving video of a lady who was in front of a Judge. The woman had to pay several traffic violations. While Judge Frank Caprio Cardona began to read her infractions, the woman began to cry. She had fallen into disgrace, because her son had been murdered,

and the woman also faced expulsion from her home by her landlord. And while she was doing the paperwork to bury her son, she racked up a series of traffic violations. And the judge, touched by what had happened, decided to forgive each infraction; about US$550, in total. The lady did not stop crying, while the judge did NOT give her justice, but rather mercy. Here is the video.

We don't know exactly if the story is real—or based on real life, or if it's just a script for the TV show. Caught in Providence, which is transmitted through the chain WLNE-TV in the state of Rhode Island, USA. But what we do know is that these types of situations really happen. So, many Facebook users, also touched by the judge's mercy and the lady's moving story, began to comment and identify with the sad case of this woman. However, There was an atheist who came out and commented, something like:

HIDALGO ALBERTO: If it had been God, he would make him pay all the fines, and impose others for negligence. Well, those horror stories found in the Old Testament teach us that we have a Tyrant God.

That is the context of his words, because I don't remember them exactly, and I forgot to copy that part of the conversation, and I haven't been able to find it. However, from his words, it goes without saying that many Christians were outraged by this man's comments, and attacked him. “Fortunately,” and—to the rescue and defense of God and his word, a Christian woman came, who also showed mercy, but on this atheist man. And in his defense of God, he does it this way—and these are his exact words, which I copied from Facebook:

DOLLYMIR: “Hidalgo Alberto…you are right that you came to that conclusion…The Old Testament is incomprehensible to human understanding...For the same reason I recommend not staying with that….GOD IS LOVE. …SEEK HIM IN YOUR WAY IN YOURSELF..WITHOUT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT WHAT YOU HAVE READ IN THE BIBLE AND TRULY WONDER IN YOUR LIFE…GOD IS IN YOU..YOU ARE A PART OF HIM AND HE IS A PART OF YOU YOU ARE GOD IN ACTION.. YOU ARE A SPIRIT OF GOD LIVING IN A HUMAN BODY.. GOD IS THE MOST KIND AND FAIR BEING...
And let me tell all those who responded to Mr. Hidalgo that they leave a lot to be desired in the way they did it...WHERE IS TOLERANCE...PATIENCE...LOVE FOR THE BROTHER...ESSENTIAL QUALITIES THAT THE CHILDREN OF GOD SHOULD HAVE …I honestly don't think God liked the answers they gave that much. ..of course I am talking about those who wished harm to their brother…”

So we see this woman's “brilliant” defense of God and his word, while at the same time defends the man who trampled the name of the most high and redeeming God. The interesting thing is that she never commented on the woman's case that was in court.

Today there is such a great disconnection among modern Christians that—many times, they seem to know the stories of Chapulin Colorado better than The Life of Christ the Savior who—in a time not too distant, came to look for those who did not deny him here in the earth. Yes, he comes to look for those who exalted his word, not trampled it—let you or anyone else have the slightest doubt about that.

I was also touched by the story of the lady who was in front of the judge. And I must admit, that I was even more impressed by the story—or rather, the comments of this other “servant of dios”. And this was my response, as I wrote it on that Facebook forum:

JOSÉ LUIS: Dollymir, how much confusion there is in your head. God is not who you want to imagine in your mind, but who is revealed in his word, both in the old and new testament.

So you advise a wicked man, following his lead? Playing the game of a wicked man makes you another wicked man.

In the old testament, we find that God created the heavens and the earth (GEN. 1:1), including human beings (GEN. 1:26-27). Yes, in the OT the love of God was manifested in the greatest and most sublime way, because you are a product of that creation (GEN. 2:18-21).

In the Old Testament God created the family—male and female, and left us the privilege of procreating (GEN. 1:26-28).

In the Old Testament, we see a God who rescues an entire rebellious and idolatrous people from the yoke of Egypt. (EXO. 12).

In the Old Testament, we see how God fed those same people for 40 years in the desert, giving them bread from heaven. (EXODUS 16:1-5), even though they didn't deserve it (EXODUS 16:6-8).

In the Old Testament, God left us his law (EXO. 20:1-17), which—in one way or another—is the basis of the moral and civil code of all civilized societies in the world, and even of the most nomadic tribes that may exist. Yes, in the old testament, God left us his law, and said You will not kill, you will not steal, honor your father and your mother, you will not covet your neighbor's wife, You will have no other gods before me... Is that a bad thing?

In the old testament, God said to Adam, leave your father and mother and be one with your wife. (GEN. 2:24).

In the Old Testament, God left us the first health laws that humanity has known, which save millions of lives every year. (DEUT. 23).

In the Old Testament, God left us the book of Psalms, a majestic literary and prophetic work that praises the creator as never before. Yes, praising that same creator God that you say you love, but in reality you only know how to blaspheme.

In the Old Testament, God left us The Sanctuary (EXO. 25), thus presenting to humanity the plan of redemption and salvation, without which no human being would have the chance of eternal life.

In the old testament, it was prophesied that the messiah would come (ISAIAH 53:1-6), who would give us the opportunity to have our sins forgiven (JOHN 3:16).

In the Old Testament, God left us the book of Proverbs; book full of wisdom that transcends time and that it is in our best interest to learn and implement its teachings.

In the Old Testament, God left us Queen Esther, a perfect model of how a woman should serve God. (ESTER).

In the old testament, we have a Boaz showing mercy to Ruth (RUT. 2. 3. 4).

In the old testament, we have the prophecy of the 2,300 days that tells us that our redemption is near (DANIEL 8:14).

In the old testament, God left us The Song of Songs, a poetic and inspired piece, full of wisdom that exalts the love between a man and a woman—that is, male and female.

In the old testament, we have Daniel, that if today there were three men as faithful as him, Christ would have already come and there would be no evil in the world (DANIEL 10:12).

In the old testament, we also have Ezequiel, who God called son of Man, but that only served the creator.

In the old testament, let us not forget Malachi-who, by divine inspiration, said that God hates divorce (MAL. 2:14-16).

We also have Joel, who sends us to blow trumpet in Zion (JOEL 2:1).

And let us not forget the “rebel” Jonah, who could not resist the mercy of his God, and gave the message that saved an entire city. (JONA 2).

In the old testament, we have a Sodom—without leaving behind Gomorrah, which God destroyed due to the wickedness of its inhabitants (GENESIS 19), and set them as an example before the universe (JUDE 1:7).

In the old testament we had the flood, which God brought to wipe out all evil what was on earth (GENESIS 7).

In the Old Testament, we have the beginning (GEN 1:1), without him there would be no the end (REV. 22:21). And Jesus is the beginning and the end, because he isl Alpha and Omega (REV. 1:8).

In it NEW TESTAMENT It was said for it is written (MAT. 4:10), and that it is written It's the Old Testament (EXO. 20:1-3), which is the basis of the new, both being—inseparably, the word of God (2 TI. 3:16).

In the Old Testament there is wisdom and the devil has you confused with such fallacy, which can only come from an ignorant and CARELESS mind that does not serve God. The word of God is not optional; If you don't understand it, ask for wisdom from heaven (SAINT. 1:5), eat healthy, fast, pray, turn off the television and stop watching soap operas and El Chavo del 8, and the Spirit of God will reveal his word to you, and you will realize how simple the writing is.

The word of God does not mention such a thing as Old and New Testament, for his word is one and cannot be divided. (REV. 22:18-19). Man made that distinction—not God. And since you did it—here I explain it to you, SIMPLY so that we can understand each other.

In the Old Testament there is wisdom, and you are full of confusion (1 COR. 14:33), for your carelessness and laziness in searching the scriptures, particularly on the subject of the “Old Testament” of the Word of God.
