Your Tithes in the Stock Market

This is news that does not need to be expanded. Simply speaking, the Corporation is investing the tithes of its members in the “lottery” of the stock market, where multi-million dollar investments are made with the money that is supposed to be used for the advancement of the work of the gospel.

Millionaire profits and losses are reported on the corporation's official news page. The only reason we understand why this news is public is because the Seventh-day Adventist Church—as a corporate company, must—by obligation to the regulations of the United States government, where it has its headquarters, provide financial data of said entity to the general public—particularly to prospective investors. The news is from April 2010, but we have no reason to doubt that this practice has ceased. And although the news is old, it is still published on the official website of the “Seventh” Day Adventist Corporation.
