The word of God says—

1 Finally, brothers, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you learned from us how It is better for you to conduct yourselves and please God, so you will abound more and more.
2 For you already know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus;
3 for the will of God is your sanctification; that you depart from fornication;
4 May each of you know how to have your own wife in holiness and honor;
5 not in passion of concupiscence, like the Gentiles who do not know God;
6 let no one wrong or deceive his brother in anything; because the Lord is the avenger of all this, as we have already told you and testified to you.
7  Well, he hasn't called ushateto filth, but to sanctification.
8 Therefore, he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who also gave us his Holy Spirit.
9 But about brotherly love you have no need for me to write to you, for you yourselves have learned from God to love one another;
10  and you also do so with all the brothers who are throughout Macedonia. But we beg you, brothers, to abound in it more and more;
11 and that you try to have peace of mind, and go about your business, and work with your hands in the manner that we have commanded you,
12 so that you may conduct yourselves honestly toward those outside, and do not need anything. —1 THESSALONIANS 4:1-12

The apostle Paul calls us to sanctification and to separate ourselves from all kinds of fornication—that is, violation of God's law.. The text is key to how Paul himself emphasizes keeping the law, “so you will not commit adultery” (EXD.. 2014) It is in the law; and adultery and fornication are the same thing, in different spaces. He also talks about not deceiving anyone. That is, do not speak lies or give false testimony, which is also in the law (EXD. 20:16).

In addition, “You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.” (EXD. 20:17) It is in the law. And before fornicating with your neighbor's wife, you must first covet her. In other words, these two commandments are closely related, since the violation of one leads to the violation of the other, and both are there to protect the most sacred thing that God created: MARRIAGE.

And all this is enclosed within the framework of Sanctification; and “without Holiness no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14). We know “that the law is truly holy…” (ROM. 7:12). Simply put, if God's law is holy, and you keep saving it, God sanctifies him through his law. In fact, the Bible directly says that the saints are nothing other than the keepers of the law:

12Here is the patience of the Saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. —REVELATIONS 14:12

And that eternal life is only reserved solely and exclusively for them. (DANIEL 7:27-28, Heb. 12:14).

And in this way—and only in this way, can we all have access to grace (APC. 22:12-21), which is given by the sacrifice of Christ; price paid on the cross, “not by works” of man “so that no one can boast” (EFS. 2:8-9), but through the works of Christ—that is, his holy Law (APC. 22:12-16, MAT. 19:16-19), well “sin is transgression of the law” (1 JOHN 3:4).

And what the wages of sin is death (ROM. 6:23), Adam had to die for his transgression. But Adam is not a redeemer. So the love of God was manifested in Christ bearing the capital penalty of Adam's transgression—that is, he paid the price for his sin, thus giving Adam—all of us, an opportunity for redemption, if we repent and let go. to sin (JOHN 8:11). And since Christ never sinned (HEB. 4:15), he can give life (1 JOHN 3:5), Well—once again, “sin is transgression of the law.” (1 JOHN 3:4)

Christ gives life; Christ kept the law. And you, do you want to know how to obtain eternal life?

31 ANDlthey told them: Believe in he Mister Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your house. —ACTS 16:31

And here is where the entire Christian world slips into something very simple. Yes, believing in the Lord takes you to heaven, something that the rich young ruler clearly did not understand when Jesus answered his question about how to be saved:

RICH YOUNG MAN:
16 Then one came and said to him: Good teacher, What good will I do to have eternal life?

JESUS:
17 […] Further if you want to enter life, keep the commandments.

RICH YOUNG MAN:
18 Which is it?

JESUS:
18 And Jesus said: Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness.
19 Honor your father and your mother; and, You love your neighbor as yourself.

—MATHEW 19:16-19

And the thing is that—what almost no one understands, no matter how simple it may be, is that believing in the Lord is obeying the Lord. And Jesus said to the rich young ruler, “Keep the commandments.” and he directly quoted the same law that we see in Exodus 20, for those who believe that Jesus was referring to other types of commandments.

And Jesus not only tells you to keep his law—THE LAW, to get to heaven (APC. 22:14-16) but he gives you the power to keep it, because “he who is in it does not sin” (1 JOHN 3:6-9). That is, he who is in it keeps the law of the ten commandments (1 JOHN.3:4). It's that simple, because it is written:

14 Blessed are those who keep his commandments, TO BE ENTITLED to the tree of life, and LET THEM ENTER through the gates in the city.

15 But the dogs will be outside, and the sorcerers, the fornicators, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and makes lies.

16 I Jesus I have sent my angel to testify to you of these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the shining star of the tomorrow. —JESUS CHRIST (Revelation 22:14)

And God inspired David with these powerful words—

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, that converts the soulto; The testimony of Jehovah is faithful, making wise the simple. —PSALMS 19:7

“That converts the soul”… And isn't that what the Lord wants, that we turn from our sins? Well, he already told us what we should do to achieve it. So the decision is in our hands, God has already made his provision, and paid the highest price for it (MAR. 15:37, LUC. 23:46).

It is that we serve a God of power, holiness and full of grace:

And in this we know that we know him, yes we saves his commandments.
He who says: I know him, and does not keep his commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him; |
but he who keeps his word, In this truly the love of God has been perfected; by this we know that we are in it.
He who says he abides in him must walk as he walked. —1 JOHN 2:3-6

Friend, don't confuse grace with perversity. Grace is reserved only for those who walk in holiness (HEB. 12:14). And holiness is nothing other than the observance of the law that you are rejecting at this very moment (N. There is a reason the word of God calls us to holiness (1 PET. 1:15-16), and gives us the formula on how to achieve that holiness: keep the law of God because this is Holy. (ROM. 7:12). The Bible is clear, to be sanctified you must keep God's law:

37 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
38 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them to make fringes on the edges of their garments throughout their generations; and put a blue cord on each strip of the edges.
39 And it will serve as a stripe, so that when you see it remember all the commandments of Jehovah, to put them to work; and do not look after your heart and your eyes, after which you prostitute yourself.
40 So that you remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. —NUMBERS 15:37-41

You cannot talk about grace without keeping the law of God. This is why Before saying “grace” the apostle John says “guard.” in the final chapter of the Bible (APC. 22:14-21). Why is this so difficult?

And for those who decide to violate his Law, God will have no choice but to leave them out of his kingdom. (APC. 22:15), given that-

8 He who commits sin is of the devil; —1 JOHN 3:8

That is, he who violates the law is from the devil (1 John 3:4). And no one who serves the devil will enter the heavenly kingdom or the new earth. That place is reserved for the children of God—those who keep his law (ISA. 66:22-23, ROM. 2:13). AND "God"—my dear friends and brothers,  “He is not a God of Confusion. (1 COR. 14:33).

THIS IS GRACE.

Blessings to all who walk their truth this day. Happy Saturday.
