Is salvation by works?—I asked my wife. She answered: “If Christ had not come to die, even if we had kept the Law, we would not be saved.”

It was a simple answer, but very logical and profound at the same time. But my wife forgot the most important of the details, “Christ had to work to save”. The Lord preached, healed, fed, raised the dead, calmed the seas, was transfigured, passed through Golgotha... All of these things were reasons for salvation for many—THEY WERE ALL WORKS!

His entire life was working. Even coming and taking that trip to earth was a work.

Will we one day understand that the simple act of living is already a work, and that the only thing that stops working is dying? That—of course, is in the case of those who are lost—

13 I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: From now on blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. [THE LIVING]. Yes, says the Spirit, They will rest from their jobs, because his works with them continue. —REVELATION 14:13

Saving in itself is a work. If a lifeguard—and lifeguards save, right?—He passes by a beach and there is a drowning person, what does he have to do to save that life? Obviously jumping into the sea and swimming, holding that person and removing them from the water—well, those are the functions [WORKS] of a Lifeguard. Jesus—in effect, is a Lifesaver, and his work is to save.

Everything is work, DEAR friends, everything

17 And Jesus answered them: My Father is working until now. [CONSTRUCTION SITE], and I work [CONSTRUCTION SITE]. —JOHN 5:17

Regardless of the absurd and brute opinion of the majority, the Lord is very clear: Salvation depends directly and completely on works; so much those of God

16 Because in such a way love [CONSTRUCTION SITE] God to the world, who has given [CONSTRUCTION SITE] to his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him [CONSTRUCTION SITE], do not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
18 The one in him believe [CONSTRUCTION SITE], is not condemned; but he who does not believe [CONSTRUCTION SITE], has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. JOHN 3:16-18,

as those of man

14 Welcometuretwo who they keep [PLAYS] his commandments, to be entitled to the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. —REVELATION 22:14
