The Flesh and the Law

⁵And he said to them: The Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. —JESUS OF NAZARETH (Luke 6:5) It is time for man to fall and for God to speak— ⁶Because to be concerned with the flesh is death, but to be concerned with the Spirit is life and peace. ⁷How much The designs of the flesh are enmity against God; BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HOLD TO THE LAW OF GOD, nor can they; ⁸and those who live according to the flesh THEY CAN NOT please God. —PAUL OF TARSO (Romans 8:6-8)

⁴For thus says the Lord: To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose what I will, and embrace my covenant, ⁵I will give them a place in my house and within my walls, and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them a perpetual name that will never perish. ⁶And to the children of THE FOREIGNERS that they follow Jehovah to serve him, and that they love the name of Jehovah to be his servants; TO ALL THOSE WHO KEEP THE DAY OF REST SO THAT THEY DO NOT PROFAN IT, and embrace my pact, ⁷I will take them to my holy mountain, and I will recreate them in my house of prayer; Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; because my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples. ⁸SAYS THE LORD THE LORD, who gathers together the dispersed of Israel: I will yet gather his gathered together to him. —ISAIAH (Prophet of God) 56:4-8

¹⁰If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; JUST AS I HAVE KEPT THE COMMANDMENTS of my Father, and remain in his love. —JESUS OF NAZARETH (John 15:10)
