18For speaking inflated and vain words, seduce with lusts of the flesh and dissolution to those who had truly fled from those who live in error. —2 PETER 2:18
ES3Series — THE HOLY SPIRIT, Part 3
God's word continues to warn against those who reject the third person of divinity—the Holy Spirit.
18For speaking inflated and vain words, they seduce with lusts of the flesh and dissoluteness those who had truly fled from those who live in error.
19They promise them freedom, and they are themselves slaves of corruption. Because he who is defeated by someone is made a slave of the one who defeated him.
20Certainly, if, having escaped the pollutions of the world, through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they become entangled in them again and are overcome, His last state becomes worse than the first.
21Because it would have been better for them not having known the way of justice, that after having known it, back out of the holy commandment that was given to them.
22But the true proverb has happened to them: The dog returns to his vomit, and the washed sow to wallow in the mud. —2 PETER 2:18-22
The admonition continues—understanding the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
4Because it is impossible that those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5and they also tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6and they relapsed, be renewed again to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God and exposing him to reproach.
7For the land that drinks the rain that often falls on it, and produces grass beneficial to those for whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;
8but the one that produces thorns and thistles is reproved, is close to being cursed, and its end is to be burned. —HEBREWS 6:4-8
To deny the truth that you once knew, understood—and lived, is the basphemy against the Holy Spirit—
26Because if we sin voluntarily after having received the knowledge of the truth, there is no more sacrifice for sins,
27but a horrendous expectation of judgment, and of boiling fire that will devour the adversaries. —HEBREWS 10:26-27
It is the Holy Spirit who leads us to all truth. To reject this—the truth, is to reject the very spirit that gives it. (JOHN 16:13)
16If anyone sees his brother committing a sin other than death, he will ask, and God will give him life; This is for those who commit sin other than death. There is a sin of death, for which I do not say that it is requested.
17All injustice is sin; but there is sin not of death. —1 JOHN 5:16-17
John indicates that one should not yet pray for certain sins that cross the line. In other words, they blaspheme the Holy Spirit, because once that line is crossed, there is no turning back—
31Therefore I say to you: All sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men; but blasphemy against the Spirit they will not be forgiven.
32Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but Whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither in this century nor in the one to come. —MATHEW 12:31-32
Directly rejecting the Holy Spirit, or simply denying the truth of which it has once convinced man, undoubtedly leads to perdition—
29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, never has forgiveness, but is guilty of eternal judgment. —MARK 3:29
And there is no greater warning in all of scripture—
10Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, will not be forgiven.
11When they bring you to the synagogues, and before the magistrates and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you will respond, or what you will say;
12because the Holy Spirit will teach you in the same hour what you should say. —LUKE 12:10-12
And if you reject the Holy Spirit, you will be left without God's word when you are brought to Judgment by men. In other words, you will be alone, without the grace of God—
4John, to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace and peace to you, from him who is and who was and who is to come [the father], and of the seven spirits that are before his throne [obviously the Holy Spirit];
5and of Jesus Christ [Son] the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loved us, and washed us from our sins with his blood. —REVELATION 1:4-5
And the divinity of God is three, not one or two, just as certain winds are blowing strange doctrines out there—
1To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven spirits [Holy Spirit] of God [Father], and the seven stars, says this: I [Son] I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and you are dead. —REVELATION 3:1
5And from the throne came lightning and thunder and voices; and seven lamps of fire burned before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. —REVELATION 4:5
Why do the lights of knowledge and discernment go out among those who blaspheme against the divine person of the Holy Spirit? Because the light—the Word of God, is revealed by his Holy Spirit. If you do not believe in the Holy Spirit, as the revealer of light, What light will illuminate those who do not believe?
9Rather, as it is written: Things that eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, Nor have they entered into the heart of man, They are the ones that God has prepared for those who love him.
10But God revealed them to us by the Spirit; because the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-10.
The sentence of such on earth is the following:
20And the LORD said, Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said one way, and another said another.
21And a spirit came out and he stood before the Lord, and said: I will induce him. And the Lord said to him: In what way?
22He said: I will go out, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and yet thou shalt succeed; So go and do it like this.
23And now, behold Jehovah has put a lying spirit in the mouths of all your prophets, and Jehovah has decreed evil upon you. 1 KINGS 22:20-23 [SEE EXD 7:3,14; 14:4,17; ROM. 1:24; 2 THES. 2:11-12]
The word is clear, if you fell there, from there it doesn't lift you—that is, it does not save him—nobody.

Excellent brothers, thank God that you understand this issue and have not let yourself be deceived by Satan.
Greetings brother, thanks for writing.
He who allows himself to be deceived in this matter loses his salvation, since it is the Holy Spirit that leads us to all truth. And without the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Satan comes. We recommend you read e; next Study.
